Frequently Asked Questions

What is your minimum order?
There is no minimum. One patch is a real order and we quote it the same way we quote a run of 10,000. Small runs cost more per piece because the setup work is the same either way.
How long does an order take?
Standard delivery is 14 to 16 days. If you have a fixed date, rush production normally runs 5 to 7 business days and we review the request against your quantity, construction and destination before confirming anything.
What artwork do you need?
Send what you have. A sketch, a phone photo of a drawing or a logo file all work. Vector conversion and embroidery digitizing are included with a patch order, and we redraw the design by hand where it needs it.
When do I pay?
Payment follows proof approval, not the quote. Orders under $2,500 are paid in full after you approve the proof. Larger orders are 50% after approval and 50% before shipping.
Can I see a sample?
A physical sample is included once your order is confirmed and paid. You can also buy a sample on its own first, and that cost is credited in full against an order placed within 30 days.
Where are the patches made?
We manufacture in-house across four US production houses and ship from the United States. Materials and components may be sourced globally, so ask if your organization has a specific origin requirement.
Embroidered vs Woven vs Chenille vs PVC. Which should I choose?
Embroidered gives you a raised thread surface and the classic patch look. Woven uses finer threads, so it holds small text and fine detail that embroidery cannot. Chenille is the looped, fuzzy build used on letterman jackets. PVC is moulded rather than stitched, which is what lets it take a die-cut silhouette and a smooth face.
What size should my patch be?
Size follows the placement. Cap fronts commonly run 2.5 to 3 inches wide and jacket backs commonly run 10 to 12 inches. Send the garment and the artwork and we will tell you what the design needs at the size you want.
What file formats do you accept for patch design?
Vector files are ideal (.ai, .eps, .pdf, .svg), and we work from high-resolution raster files (.png, .jpg) just as often. A phone photo of a sketch is enough to start. Vector conversion and digitizing are included with a patch order.
Do you offer international shipping?
Free US shipping on US orders, and worldwide shipping is quoted per destination. We pay duties and taxes on international orders and ship by UPS and FedEx, with tracking by email or SMS where the carrier supports it.
